I have a Mary Jane STEELE (1829-1908), married to John R. Megee in Millville in 1846. This is not my main Steele family, but a matrilineal branch. I am looking for information on Mary's forebearers and siblings.

Seeking information on Martha MESSICK, b. 1852, married _____SHORT. She was a daughter of Daniel H. MESSICK, b. ca 1822 at or near Laurel, d. 14 October 1905 at Wilmington. Looking for information on the HOOPER and TENNENT families. E. Parker Todd lists tombstone inscriptions on some members of these families at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Seaford. GUNDLACK posted by Charlotte Preston on Wednesday, March 17, 2004

I am searching for information about an Edward J. GUNDLACK, living in Sussex County, Delaware on the 1930 census. He is age 67 and has a wife, Elizabeth. He is listed as being born in Pennsylvania, with parents from Germany, and is working as a farm laborer. I would like to know more about him and I need a death date for him. I believe he is my great grandmother's brother and the family has no information about him, as he and his brother were put in a foundling home in Philadelphia in about 1870 and the family lost contact. Thanks for any help.

NEDOM, NEEDHAM posted by Bruce H. Needham on Wednesday, March 24, 2004

Have traced my family (NEEDHAM) from my father, William Clarence Needham, who was born in1908 in Wilmington, DE, back to Michel NEEDHAM, who appears in the 1790 DE census in Sussex Co. It appears that this same person may have lived earlier, or at least owned land, in Worcester Co., MD. His father, Joseph NEDOM, birth date unknown, had his will probated 8 Nov 1754, and had a son, Michael NEDOM. Prior to that, the family appears to have come from Accomack County, VA, and just might (?) be traced back to a Thomas NEEDHAM who came over from England circa 1621 on Tyger. Anyone out there doing research on this family, or come across any of these similar names? Thanks.
