CARR posted by Randal Carr on Wednesday, March 1, 2006

John CARR (16-26), Nathan CARR (16-26) and Henry CARR (26-45) appear in the 1800 Sussex County Census - Nanticake Hundred page 331. There was also possibly an Ezekiel CARR who was related to them. I'm seeking information about the family groups of these CARR households. Specifically, were they born in Delaware? Who were their parents? They all moved to Harrison County Kentucky around 1806. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

LITTLETON, SMITH posted by Evelyn Smith on Monday, May 1, 2006

Searching for information on Lemuel SMITH probably born circa 1775. Handy SMITH (1806-1884) married Sarah LITTLETON about 1825 possibly in Worcester County, MD. The marriage record has not been found. They migrated to Pickaway County, OH in 1839. The SMITH family history, written by Handy and Sarah's descendants, appears in a local genealogical/historical work written near the end of the 19th century and reports that the father of Handy was Lemuel SMITH. The only persons named Lemuel SMITH found to date in the DelMarVa region around the beginning of the 19th century live in Sussex County, DE. It is reported in the 1850 census that Clarissa SMITH, daughter of Handy and Sarah SMITH, was born in Delaware. Please contact me if anyone can help with this family.
