Hello and Thank you for this. I have been trying to get information on Friesenhausen, Bavaria, Germany. It is located near and has the same postal zipcode as Aidhausen, Bavaria, Germany. Neither are located on a map. I am wanting to know where theses cities are located (north, south, east, west or where in Bavaria) and was hoping to get a picture or two and a little information on Friesenhausen as that is where my ancestors were born. Nothing on the web at all on these cities. Thanks if you answer this, will appreciate it. Also, Do you know where I can read any information on Bavaria like the history of Bavaria in English? Everything I go to is in German and don't know it. JKM47 31 Dec 1997

BRUNNER / ZANGEL -I am trying to determine the family of my grandparents, Alois BRUNNER born April 2, 1877 in Niederrunding, and Mary ZANGEL born Aug. 11, 1885 in Niederrunding. I think Alois came to the USA in 1895, but I have no record of this. Mary came later. She settled in Buffalo with her family. They were married in 1903 in Meford, Wi. Things I am trying to find out:
    1. Did Alois and Mary have brother & sisters; if so, who and when they were born.
    2. What year did they come to the USA and how?

PFLAUMER -My name is Terry Harris. I live in Holzgerlingen near Stuttgart. I found a family tree by Stattman in the Stuttgart library. It has the names of 1,027 PFLAUMERs from Weissenburg in Bavaria. I have also visited the Weissenburg Stadt Archives and seen the original PFLAUMER family book. Some of these PFLAUMERs wandered over time across Bavaria as far as Heidelberg. I am desperately looking for a connection between these PFLAUMERs and my direct ancestors (700 people) from Baden and the village of Niederhofen.

Do you have any suggestions as to where I could look? I have exhausted the archives at the Pfarer houses in Niederhofen, Klien Gartach, Stetten am Heuchelberg, and Elsenz. I have also covered the Stuttgart library, The Baden Wuertemberg State Archives, the Church of the Latter Day Saints in Stuttgart, and the Evangelical Church Archives in Stuttgart. RABENSTEIN / SCHMIDT - Nemmersdorf/Goldmuehl, Oberfranken. Looking for information on ggf Georg RABENSTEIN and Barbara SCHMIDT. Georg was likely born in Nemmersdorf, but was living in Goldmuehl. Evangelische Kirche records are not available from LDS and I am seeking the names of siblings for the above and especially for their children. A birth record was obtained from Goldkronach for their sixth child, grandmother Elizabeth RABENSTEIN, but not of their other children. This record shows a godparent named RABENSTEIN from Nemmersdorf and it is assumed the older children were born there. Becker Portland, Oregon 18 Dec 1997
