I am trying to find out where I can go to get records on an ancestor born approx 1660 in Roedelsee, Upper Franconia, Bavaria. Or failing all else, names of researchers in Germany who will do it for a fee. I have tried the Evangelical Lutheran Church there, but they do not answer mail, apparently. It was at that church that the birth is recorded, but I need to find out information from that birth cert. The LDS files shows the name of town and church. Can you help steer me in the right direction so I can research this man and his ancestors? BettBo@aol.com Posted 11 October 1997.
