BUSTERBACHS, PHILIPPI Rita Neustifter I am seeking information on the family of Petri PHILIPPI, married to Mariae BUSTERBACHS. The family lived in Bergheim Erft. Petri is believed to have a brother, Laurentius PHILIPPI, and a sister,Odiliae, who married Ottonem SCHUTZ on 1/10/1753. They had at least two sons,Petri PHILIPPI c. 1754 who became a Dominican Catholic priest, and my direct ancestor, Joannis Apollinaris PHILIPPI, c. 21/6/1757. Joannis married Mariae MAYS (daughter of Joannis Huberto MAYS) in 1777 and they moved to (Neider)Heckenbach farther south. I would like to take the family back from 1754.

Louisa Tilke or Meier/Meyer b. 1838 (?) d. 1919. Two BICKMEIER brothers married SIEVEKING sisters. Is there a SIEVEKING link to Minden? SCHNAKE Roy W. GROSSENHEIDER Michael Crawford HEUERMANN Mary Lusk AHLERS, DODTS, JÖDEMANN, WILMSMANN Kevin Juedeman My gggrandfather Franz Heinrich Jödemann, born May 2, 1823, married my gggrandmother Catherine Wilhelmina Ahlers, born July 14, 1822 in Borgholzhausen March 4, 1849. He was the son of Johann Heinrich Jödemann and Catherine Wilhelmina Wilmsmann. She was the daughter of Franz Henrich Ahlers and Maria Elisabeth Dodts. All of this information was found through the IGI. Numerous siblings of my gggrandfather and gggrandmother are also listed in the IGI, some of which I have information. Franz and Catherine emigrated to the U.S. in 1855 settling in Gasconade County Missouri.

BLAHETA, RICHTER Don_Blaheta Arthur BLAHETA (my grandfather) was born in Bottrop to Felix BLAHETA and Maria (RICHTER) BLAHETA, circa 1912. He was the youngest of ten; the others were Gottfried, Willie, Elsie, Agnes, Hugo, and four others whose names we don't know. Ultimately the Blahetas derive from Bohemia, so they had probably only been in Bottrop for a generation or two, if that long. see also web page
