My Anna Katherine Lefather b. 1831, daughter of Johann and Anna Catherine ASMUTH Lefarth married Herman SCHIRP of Neheim. They were in America by the mid 1800's.

Name is rare but some families remain in Minden area now named REHMERT HEYDORN, MERBETZ Laurie Demchak Looking for info. for Friedrich Wilhelm HEYDORN. Married Johanne Georgine MERBETZ in 1837. Some children born in Minden were Louis A., Maximilian, Friedrich, Juliane, Robert. They left for America approx. 1850.
