Schevenhütte: Over 475 years
|
This is a site by Reiner Sauer. On October 28, 1525 the first documentary mention of Schevenhütte took place by Duke Johann III of Kleve-Jülich-Berg to pour cannon balls. This and other facts, tourist info., etc.are presented here. Now, Reiner presents a "cluster genealogy" for the locations: Schevenhütte, Gressenich, Mausbach, Werth and Vicht; from the former township of Gressenich. All of these places today are part of the city of Stolberg. A complete listing of all available surnames and associated first names (40,000+) has been posted. Just click on "Genealogie" in the left frame, then you can go to the "Index". |
