[TIP: When a word has a vowel followed by an e a large number of the time is it supposed to have an Umlaut over the first vowel. I.E.- "ae"-the a would have the Umlaut. "oe", "ue". It's not so common with "ie" -- they have this combination, without the Umlaut, very often.]
