I am donating without using any of the web space or Member Services, and encourage
others to do the same, to make more resources available for the many public
services which RootsWeb provides.

As a military brat I grew up without having any roots. I feel no affinity
for where I was born, grew up or have lived for 30 years. When I got into
my genealogy, I found my roots. Thomas Hardy, my 12th ggrandfather, was an
original founder of Ipswich, MA. As I learned about the early settlers, I
found my roots are in Ipswich. My site is primarily devoted to Ipswich and
other areas where the Hardys lived in the area.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank RootsWeb and its creators for giving
so generously to genealogy. I've recently heard, 'when one loses touch with
his past, he loses his future.' With RootsWeb around, we all have the opportunity
to find our past.

During the second world war our mother was forced to leave Wilno (Vilnius)
in Eastern-Europe. She had no occasion to tell us about her family and home
land. Until eight years ago we didn't know anything about her and our roots.
At last we found her and our family in Lithuania, and visited them several
times. This donation is made in loving memory of our mother Wladyslawa Wojciulewicz.
For her it was too late.
