Isleham Priory Isleham Priory was founded in the 11 century by Benedictine monks. It has survived being a barn and other things to be a unaltered example of an Early Norman chapel. It has a nave, chancel, and apse, preceded by a straight stretch of wall. The building is now maintained by the English Heritage. |
