Aynhoe Village Life. The Way it Was - Then - Before and Beyond

One of the long term members of the Banbury Area Mailing List, Dawn Griffis, has written a book about the village of Aynhoe. It is a social history of the village and villagers, through the years between, 1880ish to 1956. This type of history is not written often enough, and it is so valuable to the genealogist, for putting meat on the bones, of all those names and dates, that we gather so religiously. It has many photographs, most of them are very old, which adds to what is missing from all those names and dates. As the saying goes a "Picture is worth a thousand words"!
