The Manor of Adderbury
In the County of Oxford       14 November 1741

I Thomas Judd of Adderbury aforesaid Cordwainer doth surrender into the hands of the Lord of the said Manor by the hands of George Eddowes Gent one of the customary tenants of the same Manor - All that his cottage or tenement and Shop with appurtenances situate and being in Adderbury the East within the said Manor the house of Henry Terry being on the East part thereof which he lately purchased of James Terry To the use and behoof of the Hon.ble General Peter Campbell Esq his heirs and assigns forever according to the custom of the said Manor In trust nevertheless for the most Noble John Duke of Argyll & Greenwich Lord of the said Manor his heirs and assigns. In witness whereof the said Thomas Judd hath hereunto sett his hand the day and year first above written.
