St. Mary Magdalene's was built in 1150 and the plain Norman chancel arch is an original feature. The south porch has a Tudor doorway with original metalwork and closing ring. There is a large 15th C wall painting in the nave of St. Christopher carrying the infant Christ across a river. The font is a plain, Early 16th C, sixteen-sided bowl mounted on the original Norman cylindrical font.
