St. Saviour's 1844-45 by William Butterfield is splendidly built in imitative
early 14th C style. It consists of nave, chancel, south porch, west tower and
narrow aisles. It is well proportioned. The ironwork on the door is notable.
The lychgate, also by Butterfield, is a bold design.
