St. Nicholas church is 13th C but much altered in the 19th C, when the east window was introduced from Haresfield. The church has 13th C south-west tower with Perp battlements. The south porch has a good Early English south doorway with jamb shafts having stiff-leaf capitals. There is a nave and chancel with north and south aisles. The south nave arcade of three bays was rebuilt circa 1840; and the north aisle was added by Waller in 1876 with an arcade copying the south. The font is a 13th C arcaded bowl with a pedestal of eight shafts. The stained glass east window is by O'Connor, 1854.
