Situated almost in the garden of Hill Court and approached only by a path across the park, the church retains its Georgian atmosphere. It is medieval in origin. It has a 14th C west tower and spire, with a tower arch of two chamfered orders, and a rib-vault springing from corbels ornamented with ballflower. The 13th C chancel is raised four steps above the nave. ĘThe Fust mortuary chapel, added to the south of the chancel in the early 18th C, was restored in the 19th C. The nave was rebuilt in 1759 by Sir Francis Fust. The font is a Norman bowl cut down circa 1550 into a hexagon, leaving the circular top untouched, and mounted on a Late Perp moulded plinth.
