St. Mary's is an isolated little Norman church with interesting fittings, untouched since Georgian times. The west wall retains its original shallow buttresses and string-course; and there is later buttressing on the other sides. The small chancel arch has jamb shafts with scalloped capitals. The north window in the chancel is Norman. The chancel roof has a braced collar-beam truss, and supports the bell-turret. The walls are plastered and the floor stone-flagged. There are 18th C box pews.
