St. Andrew's church was formely a chapelry of Prestbury. Originally Norman, it was much altered in the 15th C. It was at this time the central Perp tower and south porch were added and the transepts remodelled. There are two fonts - a 17C chalice-shaped font; and also one with large angels dated 1892. There is stained glass in the church by Lavers, Barraud & Westlake, 1877; two contemporary windows by Graham Dowding, 1996 and 1997; others by Clayton & Bell, 1869; and also by James Powell & Sons, 1915-19. In the churchyard there are some good 17th and 18th C chest tombs.
