Shorncote is a little hamlet a little south of Cirencester and close to the source of the River Thames. All Saints' church is built of Cotswold stone, with a roof of Cotswold slates. Above the nave east gable is a bell-cote probably dating from the 14th Century. It all forms a typical piece of vernacular Gloucestershire building.
