St. Mary's consists of chancel, nave, south porch, and a small 19th C west bellcote for two bells. The south doorway is Norman. Godwin encaustic floor tiles were added to the chancel steps in the 1872 restoration whereas the nave has a stone-flagged floor . The restored Norman chancel arch is of two orders with chevron enrichment on its outer order. The plain inner order has fluted capitals on corbels; and chamfered abaci. The font is octagonal and in the Perp style. The bowl has quatrefoils and the chamfer has flowers, a shield and an angel. The stem has trefoil-headed panels. There is stained glass in the church by Hardman, 1872; and by James Powell & Sons, 1874.
