St. Katharine's is a small church built by the Abbot of Hailes in 1475. The style is mostly Perp or later. The wooden bellcote was built on the west gable in 1800. The nave has north and south aisles with three-bay Perp arcades. The walls are limewashed. The font has a 15th C octagonal bowl enriched with quatrefoils in circles, and an octagonal pedestal with trefoil-headed niches on four sides. There is stained glass in the church by William Morris & Co., 1912. The hatchment is mid 19th C with the arms of Gist and Baron Rossmore.
The church possesses an unusual Norman stone crucifix.
