I was born in Falmouth
in 1940, went to Falmouth Grammar School from 1951 to 1958. I joined
the RAF in 1958 as a Physical Training Instructor and then converted
to Pilot in 1965. I married Brenda ( nee Renfree ) in 1964. She is
also Falmouth born and bred! We have a grown up son and daughter who
both live in Germany.
I left the RAF
in 1978 and became a Personnel Manger with an engineering
company. I retired from that job in 1999 and became a Personnel
Consultant and I now do this on a part-time basis.
I am a member of
the Rotary Club of the South Cotswolds and am therefore involved in
charity work. I live in Tetbury in Gloucestershire. All other
members of my family and my wife's family still live in Cornwall.
I feel very
Cornish and love anything connected with Cornwall.
