We now have census image pages in our Research Room for 1851, 1871 and 1891 London Census and 1861 and 1891 for Middlesex. These sets will be added to as soon as we can.

We are also pleased to announce that "The Parish Chest" is now merchandising all the HFHS fiche and books. These can be purchased on-line at their site. You can also update your membership online!

The 1901 Census is now available via the internet and the teething troubles appear to have been solved. We continue to offer a free internet service at our Research Room. This gives members and visitors free access to the 1901 Census index for the United Kingdom as well as other genealogical sites.

St.Andrews Church, Hillingdon Although access to the index to the 1901 Census is free, vouchers or a credit card are required to obtain the census details. Vouchers are on sale at the Research Room. The vouchers can be used on any computer - provided of course it has internet access! Help is available at the Research Room if you don't understand the voucher system.

Computer Workshops - The Computer Group run 2 hour informal workshop sessions on a variety of topics such as Computing for Beginners, Family History Programs, Using the 1881 census and other CD-ROMs to find your family and Using the Internet for Family History.

If anyone has any old maps, articles, books on genealogy, then don't throw them out - give them to us! We never throw anything away!
