Ashby by Partney
Note: Researchers should be aware that there are several Ashbys in Lincolnshire, let alone all of England.
Ashby by Partney is a village and parish which lies 128 miles north of London, just 2 miles east of Spilsby and 1.5 miles northeast of Halton Holgate. The parish covers 1,025 acres. The River Lymn (Steeping River) runs through the parish.
- By automobile to Ashby by Partney village, although there are country roads out of Spilsby, the most expeditious route may be via the A158 which swings north out of Spilsby and curls east. Just after the junction with the A16 trunk road, turn south for Ashby.
