Benniworth
Benniworth (or Benningworth) is both a village and a parish in the Wolds, 9 miles NNW of Horncastle and 8 miles WSW of Louth. Sotby parish lies to the south and Market Stainton to the southeast. The parish covers about 3,000 acres.

- By automobile, take the A158 trunk road north out of Horncastle and at the junction with the B1256, take that arterial road north about 6 miles to Benniworth. The village will be off to the left.

- The Anglican parish church is dedicated to St. Julian.
- Many portions of the church date from Norman times. The rood screen dates from about the middle of the 15th century.
- The church underwent restoration in 1874-75.
- The church seats about 250.
