This village and parish is 6 miles northwest of Horncastle. The parish only covers about 940 acres.
Janet Horton-Payne tells us that the village now consists of "St. Margaret's Church and a large house." If you are planning a visit:

- The Anglican parish church is dedicated to St. Margaret.
- In 1900, the church was closed and used only as a mortuary chapel.
- The Diocese of Lincoln declared this church redundant in April of 1975. In March of 1978 it saw new life as a store.
