I, William Uings, of the parish of Brenchley in this county of Kent, being in perfect health of body & of perfect mind & memory, thanks be given to almighty God calling unto the mortality of my body & knowing that it is appointed for all who are to see I do make & ordain this my last Will & testament. That is to say principally & first of all I give & recommend my soul into the hands of the almighty God that gave it & my body I recommend to the Earth to be buried in devout Christian burial at the discretion of my Exors nothing doubting but at the general resurrection, I shall receive the same again by the mighty powers of God and touching such Worldly property wherewith it has pleased God to bless me with in this life I give devise & dispose of the same in the following manner & form First I give & bequeath to the children of William Gibbs & the children of Robert Tilby of the parish of Battle in the county of Sussex one hundred & twenty-five pounds of good & lawful money of England of which they shall share & share alike to be paid to each of them by my Exors. Also I give all the rest of my property to the several persons as follows to share & share alike that is the children of my brother William Mercer & Elizabeth Uings his wife & the children, of my brother Richard Latter & the children of my brother David Uings & my brother Thomas Uings & his children each of them to share & share alike And I appoint my nephews William Mercer & William Uings my Exors of this my last will & testament.
