I Freeman EDRIDGE Snr, By the Grace of God Amen, of No. 20 Red Lion St. Holborn do declare this to be my last will. I leave my wife Maria and my son Freeman sole executrix and sole executor. I desire that all my debts including the expense of my funeral may be paid immediately after the same. I then leave to my sister Mrs Mary BEDFORD ten guineas for mourning. Also to Mr Thomas EDRIDGE my brother ten guineas for do with my mourning ring I had for my dear Mother, also to Mr Edwin SPENCER Brother to my dear wife ten guineas for do also to Mrs Jane DEAN Sister to my wife ten guineas for do. Also ten guineas to the Consumption Hospital at Brompton. The rest of my property of whatever description including goods, debts and ct to be equally divided between my dear wife and my dear son also whatever property of whatever description may come to me at any future time may be equally divided between my wife and son but should my son outlive his dear Mother then he is to have the whole of the said property that may hereafter come. Also should any of the above trustees depart this life before then that portion will belong to my dear wife and my dear son. This 19th day of August 1847 - Freeman EDRIDGE Snr - The aforesaid signed by me this 12th of August in the year of our Lord 1847 in the presence of us who in the presence of each other and in the presence of the Testator - Rd ATTFIELD, 20 Tooks Court, Chancery Lane - The mark of X Julia Ann MAY Servant to Mr EDRIDGE On the 20th day of October 1849 Appeared personally Robert ATTFIELD of 19 Tooks Court Chancery Lane in the County of Middlesex, Law Stationer one of the subscribed witnesses to the last will and testament of Freeman EDRIDGE late of No. 20 Red Lion Street Holborn in the Parish of Saint Andrew Holborn in the County of Middlesex Tallow Chandler deceased now hereunto annexed and bearing date the twelfth day of August one thousand eight hundred and forty seven and made oath that on the twelfth day of August one thousand eight hundred and forty seven aforesaid the said Testator duly executed his said will by signing his name thereto in the presence of this deponent and of Julia Ann MAY the other subscribed witness thereto, both of whom were present at the same time.
