Hello and Welcome! Thank you for your interest in the Walter Hines Page Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution.
Our chapter was chartered in November, 1925, with the objective “to perpetuate the memory and spirit of the men and women who achieved American independence, and to further better international relations.” We are the oldest active unit overseas, and we take our name from the highly respected American journalist, publisher and diplomat who served as the United States Ambassador to the Court of St James during World War I.
We meet regularly, from September through May, in and outside of London, and we support several local projects that further the DAR objectives of historic preservation, promotion of education, and patriotic endeavor.
We are growing quickly, with over 100 members at the moment, and we welcome enquiries from women descended from patriots of the American Revolution. If you believe you meet the DAR eligibility requirements and would like to become a DAR member or if you are already an active DAR member and would like to transfer or our chapter or become one of our associate members, do e-mail us for membership information.
