Alexander and William left London, on 14th August, 1875, on the ship "Ocean Mail", arriving in New Zealand, on 23rd November, 1875. Alexander died in New Zealand on 25th January, 1936. Have no further information on William.

Spent time in Sligo prison for his political activities.His obituary, dated c.1918, says that he was called to the Bar, but never practised, that he was a journalist, who spent time in the US, and that he was a Fenian. He died in poor circumstances, in Dublin.
