HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER

Dear Prospective Members or Transfer Members,
How delighted I am that you are considering joining our esteemed organization!  Annie H. Darracott 791 would be honored to have you as a member of our Chapter.

Our group has a devoted number of members who hold dear the honor and sacrifice of our Confederate ancestors.  To this end I would help you in completion of your application and also guide you in obtaining proofs for the application.  Our fees are modest, our sisterhood warm and our activities well suited to busy lifestyles!

In fact if we can start your application process we can have you as a member starting our new 2010 year.

Our meetings are normally held the 4th Tuesday of each month beginning each August sans the months of May, June and July.  In May we hold an end of year luncheon.

We are looking forward to a rededication of our Confederate monument in Lakeland's Munn Park in May - perhaps you can join us?  Come visit and see how the Daughter's at work.

Just recently many of our members have enjoyed hosting meetings at their homes.  We hold our Christmas party off site and also have luncheons at Tea Rooms and the like.  You'll find our group a delightful bunch of sincere women who share warm friendships outside of the UDC.

So, let me know when we can get started on your application!    Membership requirements are listed below.

Take care and I hope to hear from you soon.

Jen
