Come Visit the Museum.  Festival of Trees Coming Soon
CITY HALL is transformed into a holiday wonderland with 35+ beautiful designer trees and wreaths provided by local businesses. Gingerbread House displays created by Wekiva Culinary Students will be featured. For those young (or young at heart), a Christmas town model train will chug and choo-choo amongst the trees in the atrium. Festival of Trees is a silent auction fundraiser organized by the Apopka Historical Society. This event is open to the public. All are welcome. FREE admission.

OPENING NIGHT (Bidding Begins) - December 3rd. Doors open at 5:30 pm. 35+ Tree lighting will occur at dusk. Apopka Mayor Joe Kilsheimer will welcome guests. The Apopka High School Choir sings favorite Christmas Carols. Santa t
o read "Twas the Night before Christmas" to the children. Obtain a silent bid number this evening if you wish to participate in the tree & wreath silent auction.


The Festival of Trees will be open Monday thru Friday during the hours of 8am and 5pm. This year we have extended hours on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday for more viewing time.

Thursday December 7th opens at 8am closes 8pm (Extended hours)

Saturday December 9th opens at 10am closes 3pm

Sunday December 10th opens at 2pm closes 5pm

Thursday December 14th opens at 8am closes 8pm (Extended hours)

Saturday December 16th opens at 10am closes 3pm (Extended Hours)

Sunday December 17th opens at 2pm usually ends by 8pm Closing Day

CLOSING NIGHT (Bidding Ends) - December 17th. Doors open at 5:30pm. Bids to close at 6:30pm. Announcement of bid winners (highest bidders) will be held. Winners purchasing trees this evening will be able to take them home at evening's end.

All event proceeds benefit the Apopka Historical Society.
