Coe Wallace was born 28 September 1890 in Cairo, Grady County, Georgia. He came to Panama City with his parents in 1908. Coe was a charter member of the Wallace Memorial Presbyterian Church. He married Carrie Bond of Jacksonville in Panama City 1 September 1918. Coe served in the Army during World War I. As a young man he worked as a salesman for Gulf Refining Company. He worked and retired as a car salesman for Harrison Motor Company. Coe died on 6 October 1970 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery. He and his wife had two sons and one daughter.
