There are many ways that you can volunteer not only for Bradford County Genealogy Project, but the FLGenWeb Project as well. There almost as many ways to help as there are reasons.
To submit information to the Bradford County Genealogy project, contact the County Coordinator for instructions. Please do not submit anything that is under copyright unless, you are the copyright holder or have written permission for it to be displayed by FLGenWeb on one of our county sites. Permission for copyrighted material must accompany the material at the time of submission or the material will not be displayed.
We welcome original material, cemetery transcriptions, photographs, documents and ephemera that is related to Bradford County's People and its history. If there is a group or organization wishing to help with the placement of material we are happy to work with them in getting the material online. We are always looking for people willing to transcribe documents, index records, photograph cemeteries or other places of interest in Bradford County or any of the 66 other Florida Counties. Our goal is to keep as much Florida Genealogy and History in a free online atmosphere that the only requirement for access is a computer that has an internet connection.
To adopt a Florida County needing a caretaker please visit the FLGenWeb Project's Adopt a County page. We do have a few requirements for a County Coordinator, but we also have many volunteer opportunities for just about anyone who wishes to help.

We would like to thank the former County Coordinator Jim Powell, Jr. for all the hard work and the data that he placed on this website. Jim Powell was the first County Coordinator for Bradford County from 1996 to 2008. He left me with tremendous shoes to fill.
Jim, as an employee of the Alachua County Clerk is responsible for coordinating the effort to use volunteers to index, extract and transcribe all the Alachua County Clerk's old records and place them online to facilitate genealogical and historical research. He has won many awards, the most recent from the Florida State Genealogical Society for those efforts! It was certainly well deserved. THANK YOU JIM!
