Stained-Glass Window Added to Library

The Citrus Springs Memorial Library has a new beautiful stained-glass window that was placed above the sliding doors at the entrance to the Genealogy Wing at the library. It is a beautiful window, with the tree of knowledge flanked at both sides by volumes of books, very detailed and colorful.

The window was crafted and installed on June 29, 2002, by Dick Osborn, a member of the Citrus Springs Genealogy Society, , and is another of his creations, thanks to a hobby he acquired after taking a course in stained-glass creations in 1992.

Osborn has crafted several other stained glass items in the community - especially the "Good Shepherd" at the Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church in Citrus Springs. Osborn has lived in Citrus Springs since 1987 and has most recently been a member of the Advisory Board of the M.S.B.U. serving for four years.
