LEROY G. SLOAN
Leroy G. Sloan 78, of 523
Washington St. Arcadia, Fl, passed away at
his own home Sunday moring . August 5th, 1984 , following a prolonged
iliness.He was born in Ft. Odgen , Fl and was a lifelong resident of
DeSoto. He was a retired merchant and a member of the Ft. Odgen United
Methodist Church. Survivors aree his wife Mrs. Diana L. Sloan of
Arcadia; one son Larry G. Sloan of Arcadia; one daughter Mrs. Peggy
Abbott of Lakeland; one sister Mrs. Onie Sherouse of Ft. Myers and
Franklin, NC, 3 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. Funeral
services will be held Tuesday August 7th, 1984 at 3:00 p.m. from the
Ft. Odgen United Methodist Church with the Rev. Clair Wilcoxon
officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Roberts-Grady
Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
