Mrs. Samp Douglas - 19 March 1920

On Nov. 8, 1919, Mrs. Samp Douglas peacefully passed into the great beyond.
She was born May 17, 1881, and married Samp Douglas January 28, 1909. She joined the Mount Ephraim Baptist church November, 1914. She loved her church and had a cheerful word for everyone. She is survived by her husband and four small children; all boys; also four brothers and two sisters and a number of relatives and friends to mourn her loss.
Therefore, be it resolved that we extend our sympathy to the bereaved family; a page on our church record be inscribed to her memory, and these resolutions sent to the Desoto County News and the Enterprise for publication.
