Society Information

Meetings:

General member meetings are held on the third Saturday of the month from October through May, unless otherwise specified, at 10 a.m. in the Selby Public Library Jack J. Geldbart Auditiorium. A social time precedes the meeting.

Boards of Director's meetings are held on the Tuesday prior to each general member meeting at 9:30 a.m. on the second floor of Selby Public Library, unless otherwise specified.

Membership:

Membership in the Society is open to anyone with an interest in genealogical research. The Society operates on an annual schedule and dues are to be paid by July 1st. Annual dues per person are $15.00, and student dues are $5.00. Half-year dues from January 1st through June 30th are $7.50 per person. Sustaining membership, two members, same family, $40.00. Supporting membership, two members, same family, $50.00.

Checks are payable to The Genealogical Society of Sarasota, Inc., and may be brought to a meeting or mailed to the Society, Attention of Membership, at P.O. Box 1917, Sarasota, FL 34230-1817.

The Society newsletter is published four times a year and automatically comes with your membership.
