Genealogy Society of Southest Volusia County
Genealogy is the study of a family’s lineage. Tracing out ones family trees, and finding a specific person in a family’s past. Some people use Genealogy to connect to other family members. Genealogy interested persons may solely want to know who is in a family and who they are related to. While others as a more general study of family history. In Genealogy we find and record; dates of birth and death, information held by family members, as well as other pertinent information. Here at our Society we have a speaker every month that is informative about genealogy. You will find our meetings open to all that wish to come. Our Meetings are held on the second Monday of the month at 5pm in the New Symrna Beach Library. We also have mentors that will work with you on a one to one basis. In the library on Wednesday afternoons there is also someone to help you. Come Join Us
