MEMBERSHIP Membership in the Society is open to individuals, libraries, institutions and societies. The members have a wide range of experience from beginners to registered genealogists, including some members who have published genealogical works. The particular geographical interests and experience of our members focus on areas throughout the United States and much of Europe. Regular meetings are held September through May on the second Monday of the month at 5:00 - 7:15 PM in the B Conference Room of the New Smyrna Beach Regional Library and the scheduled programs are on genealogical topics. Prospective members and guests are welcome to attend and participate. In addition, special meetings and workshops are held during the summer months, June - August. Dues are $10.00 per individual and $15.00 per family For NEW revised Volusia Co. Library hours as of March, 2005EXECUTIVE BOARD Meetings of the executive board are held September through May on the Saturday before the monthly meeting in the Board Room of the New Smyrna Beach Regional Library. Board meetings are open to the membership and members are encouraged to bring ideas or suggestions to place before the Board for consideration. PUBLICATION 'Family Trails' is the quarterly publication of the Society. Contents include; activities of the organization, new books in the Genealogy section of the New Smyrna Beach Regional Library, research tips and free genealogy queries. Members are invited and encouraged to submit material for publication in Family Trails
