RootsWeb Genealogy Mailing Lists: DNA-NEWBIE

A mailing list for anyone new to genetic genealogy to discuss and

exchange basic information about DNA including methods, testing

and results, and for those who find discussion on the Genealogy-DNA
list or on specific DNA surname lists to be too technical for their tastes.

A mailing list for the discussion of the use of, and problems with,
computers and computer peripherals in genealogy research.
Scottish War Prisoners
Scottish War Prisoners is a mailing list for those interested in tracing
soldiers who were captured at the Battle of Dunbar (1650) or Battle of
Worchester (1651) and sent to the American colonies.
The Bereavement Services Portal
A free searchable directory of most cemeteries, crematoria, and
natural burial ground contact information in the United Kingdom.
Over 900 operators and 4000 sites represented and kept up to date
by the managers themselves.
Wisconsin State Census Transcription Project
New Horizons Genealogical Services has launched the Wisconsin
State Census Transcription Project, it is our goal to get the complete
Wisconsin census and mortality schedules transcribed and published
on the internet. We have links on our site to most known records
already transcribed.

Danish School Census 1735-1739
In some areas of Denmark school censuses were created, which
listed all of the school children and information about them.
