Virginia State Census Transcription Project
New Horizons Genealogical Services has launched the Virginia State Census
Transcription Project, it is our goal to get the complete Virginia census and
mortality schedules transcribed and published on the internet. We have links
on our site to most known records already transcribed.

Moments and Images of the Past
This site includes two features appearing in the Statesman Journal newspaper
in Salem, Oregon. One is Moments of the Past featuring excerpts from old
newspapers, diaries, memories of people, public domain publications and
anything else that gives people a sense of the people, times, places, events
and things of the past with a connection to Oregon. Images of the Past does
a similar thing with photos or scans of old documents. Most of this material
is submitted by readers of the Statesman Journal and some of it is family
material you won't find anywhere else.
