Barfield Cemetery, Jackson County, Florida

At one time in the early & middle part of the 1900s there was a nice size cemetery on Hwy 90 west about 3 miles from the town of Cottondale.
I have not been able to find out what the name of the cemetery was (I am naming it Barfield Cemetery, bjs)
It has long since been turned under, I do know it was on the Tharp homestead.
The Jackie Johnson family who now owns the farm was out plowing the fields when Mr. Johnson's plow hit something.
He climbed off his tractor to investigate and found 2 headstones.
I was told a little about this cemetery from some older people in Cottondale but no one remembers the name of the
people buried in it. I find it hard to believe that people can be so cruel….

After doing some research on the two named above I have found out they were brother and sister and the
children of Ephraim C Barfield who is buried at Lovewood.
