Hewett boys

This is the Holland Store at Parramore. I'm not sure what year the picture was taken, but I would guess the 20s or 30s. The two boys are Hewetts.

William Augustus Bowles

Bowles

This is the pirate and adventurer William Augustus Bowles. He is supposedly the source of the treasure of gold and silver that is, according to legend, hidden in the "Money Pond" near Neals Landing in Northeastern Jackson County. He was married to a daughter of the Seminole chief Thomas Perryman, who lived near Parramore landing.

This is Captain Henry Grace, one of the men for whom Graceville is named.
