FLORIDA SOCIETY OF MAYFLOWER DESCENDANTS - STATE MEETING The James Chilton Colony will host the Florida Society State Meeting November 20-21, 2009. The meeting will be at the Waterfront Inn, The Villages. Put these dates on your calendar. At the meeting, we expect to have as Guest Speaker, Brett Dickens Brown. Formerly from Fostoria, OH, Brett moved to Greenacres, FL in 1971. He is an historian, genealogist and writer. During his research, he discovered that he is related to several past American president (Fillmore, FDR, and G.W. Bush) as well as several Hugenot ancesters. He is a member of several ancestoral society groups including the Hugenot Socieity, Sons of the American Revolution, Sons of the Spanish-American War, sons of the Union Veterans of the Civil War, and others. Also, his 38th Great Grandfather was Charlemagne. We expect a very informative and interesting talk.
