Old Pisgah Methodist Church Cemetery
Visited 3/23/2001, transcribed by Vickie Stevens. Located off Centerville Road on Pisgah Church Road. Established early 1800’s.
This is a beautiful church and cemetery. It is listed as a Historical Site and is extremely well kept. The grounds are well manicured and the building has been restored. There is an outside chapel area and concrete picnic tables. Well worth visiting if you are in the area.
30 unmarked graves of Yellow Fever victims, buried here in 1841 in this cemetery since it was the only established cemetery in the area.
