  American History Essay Awards
Our chapter presents DAR Good Citizens pins and sponsors essay contests for high school students who demonstrate the qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism.

  JROTC Medals and Awards
We award JROTC medals to outstanding student cadets in secondary school ROTC programs of the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps.

Veterans
We honor veterans by participating in patriotic parades and donating items to a local VA nursing home.  We also send care packages to our overseas troops.

    DAR Schools

We donate money to schools for underprivileged children and send birthday cards to students living in the Florida cottage at Tamassee DAR School.

  DAR Library
Our chapter donates books to the DAR Library in Washington, DC and to our DAR State Library in Orlando.

    DAR Scholarships
We sponsor outstanding senior high-school and college students from our local area for State and National DAR scholarships.
