As we make our way back to Palatka, there are many points of interest. We stop at several communities along the way, the first being Welaka, a charming little town directly opposite the Ocklawaha River.

Next we take a side trip to the flourishing community of Crescent City. We make our way through Dunn's Creek in a smaller vessel to the beautiful Crescent Lake. We take in many interesting sites.

From Crescent City we travel inland on a fine two horse rig to Pomona.

 

Back on our journey up river, our next stop is San Mateo which is located on a high bluff with numerous orange groves.
