|The Procedure For Nominating and Electing Officers and Board
|A Nominating Committee shall be approved at the September regular
meeting, consisting of three members in good standing, one appointed
by the President as Chairperson, and two nominated from the floor. At
the October regular meeting, the Nominating Committee shall present a
candidate for each office and accept nominations from the floor.
Write-in nominations may be accepted until the November meeting. The
Nominating Committee shall present the candidates for each office on
a written ballot at the Annual meeting in December at which time the
members shall vote. All members in good standing shall be eligible
for office. The election will be conducted by the Chairperson of the
Nominating Committee and written ballots will be counted and a duly
elected slate of officers will be announced to the membership and a
copy submitted to the Recording Secretary. There will be no proxy
voting. Officers shall be elected at the Annual meeting in December
and shall be installed at the end of that meeting and assume their
respective duties at that time. All records and books should be
turned over to the new officers at this meeting.
