Pastfinders Meeting

September 12, 2002

Pastfinders meeting of September 12, 2002 consisted of a Round Robin where members came prepared to discuss their genealogical efforts over the summer. Responses varied from establishing a museum to a having a DNA test. One member has put together huge genealogical charts that appear to be about 4 feet by 12 feet. He's also found a place where he can have them reproduced. Another couple reported that they'd lost a grandson in an auto accident so not everyone brought us good news.

One member brought an email that explains why we do genealogy. It's not just birth, marriage and death records but what our ancestors were like and how they lived. It's called Fleshing out the Bones.

Other members who wish to publish details of their research and experiences can email them to me.
